Today, life has given us objects, objects not tangible in the physical world, but rather objects that are internalized. These objects can be labeled as emotions, thoughts, aspirations, or conscience; but really, they're objects of our mind. These objects determine how we act - for better or for worse. They consume our lives. They can overwhelm us with joy; and drown us in hate. But still, we must live with them.
Just as physical objects, these internal objects appear in our lives whether by decision or coinincidence, but regardless, their presence is real. How we deal with these objects in our lives can be definitive of the person we are or the person we seek to be. We shouldn’t put these objects we label as trash in other peoples’ lives. Instead, we take a trip to the dump. The objects we cherish in the physical world can be hard to share, but that does not have to be true for our internal objects. Objects of positivity can, and should, be shared.
I feel I am getting too in depth with the metaphor of objects - but what I am ultimately trying to say, is that if we only share our garbage such as emotions of hate, radical disagreement, or stubbornness, then the idea of progression dies. But by sharing the objects we live for like feelings of love, radical happiness, and curiosity, then all of the sudden, conversations are easier to be had. And from conversation, grows passion; and what follows passion, is action; and what follows action, is beautiful.
With such a variety of objects in the world, it is inevitable that some are going to clash. Make them clash with grace, not violence.
