DailyThought #8 - We Are Bound by Our Decisions

I watched as an older gentalman limps, step by step, one hand on the exterior of a brick building, hauling trash behind him. And then returns only to retrieve more garbage bags. You can tell each steps hurts as his face tightens and his eyes squint each time a foot carries his weight. The situation doesn’t feel right. And I can’t help but wonder how he got in this position. The stories he must have, and all he must carry - beside the garbage.


I wish he well. And hope he can find some rest.
