DailyThought #6 - Character

I work with this man. I don’t know if we have ever said more than a few words to eachother at a time, but you can tell he means well. When he walks into the building, his eyes meet others softly; you can tell he brings kindness and comfort. He walks up to me, asks how I am doing then gives me a hug from the side. He is not loud; in fact, he might be quite. But his character is loud. You can tell he has lived a life full of weight and stories. Hopefully ones he can share with me one day.

I believe this should be societies standard of success. People feel comfort around him. And it’s not just me, everyone at work has the same things to say about this man. Some people are powerful, and they use their power with exlimation. He is also powerful, but uses his power discreetly and softly. A beautifully difficult feat to achieve. It is people like him that make this world a beautiful place.
