The weather is a dictator of our souls. A compass of feeling. The weather nudges us to focus on aspects of the world, and aspects of ourselves. When I wake up to the sun shining through my window, I am drawn outward, toward the rest of the world. It encourages to me to move and to be curious about not only myself, but the rest of the world as well.

In contrary, when it rains, and I am woken up by the eco of thunder, I am forced to look into myself. I am faced with the same complexity of vastness that a sunny day offers, but through a different perspective. Maybe this is why rainy days are simultaneous with the blues. But this is something that is necessary. Rainy days force people to be ok with themselves. And if more people are ok with themselves, then, in turn, they can start being more ok with the differences of the world.
