DailyThought #53 - If It All Went Down

If today, bombs flew and hit what we have become most reliant on, what would you really own? If we had to set down what we have become so used to, would you be happy? We have forgot what it feels like to walk in the morning and read at night. Though that may be boring, would you be able to find pleasure in the mundane? I hope I would, but honestly, I am not sure. I hope that if it all went down tomorrow, I would have more than a cool Instagram page to mourn over. I hope that I have the addresses of all of my friends and family so I could send them letters. I would hope that, even though it would be hard, it might bring us closer for a time. I hope that maybe that void in our lives would be filled with substance. And I hope we could be happy doing it.

When it all goes down, I might look to the sky and smile as it crashes.
