DailyThought #49 - The Value I Put On You

The probability that you and me are together - same place, same time - is quite amazing. I could’ve been a tree and you could’ve been a bullet. But we are not. We are human. We can talk and walk and fight and kill. The span of our power is astounding, but can be as beautiful as it can be scary. The hand I used to spoon a serving of food into a baby’s mouth, today, can be the same hand that chokes you tomorrow. Though our lives are the same in breath, you and I have the power to value eachother’s at zero. If your family values you at priceless, I can act off worthless. And that is haunting.
