DailyThought #36 - Van Gogh

Van Gogh did not start painting til he was 27. He produced over 2,000 paintings in just ten years, until his death. During his lifetime, Van Gogh did not see fame, praise, or fortune. Instead, he battled poverty, mental illness, and himself. What was lacking somewhere, was gaining elsewhere. What most see as normalities, Van Gogh saw inspiration. When a person has a purpose, the have no other choice but to work toward it. Sadly, Van Gogh never saw the influence he had on the world as we know it. When I look at the night sky, I can’t look away. Thank you, Van Gogh.
